Imperial Water-proofing Industries Pvt. Ltd. is a Mumbai-based, closely held company that was founded in 1959 and excelled in manufacturing waterproofing products and rubber based adhesives. In 1994, we ventured into manufacturing NBR-PVC polyblends under the brand, Rubaloy.

The ProductRubaloy is a dry/mechanical polyblend of Acrylonitrile Butadiene (NBR) and Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), with superior dispersion and therefore, enhanced physical properties. The product is RoHS compliant and its ingredients/components are listed on the U.S. EPA TSCA 8(b) Inventory; it also adheres to the all-important REACH norms. As polyblends have evolved considerably over the years, we can now provide finer, stronger materials with unique properties and an improved finish.
The different ratios of NBR:PVC used in our product (varying from grade to grade) gives it an edge over traditional synthetic rubbers and allows us to meet a wide range of specifications and formulations. Rubaloy has the ability to replace Nitrile Rubber, Chloroprene, Hypalon and EPDM in various applications.
Products made from Rubaloy have an unparalleled combination of fuel, oil, ozone, solvent and abrasion resistance. Our specialty grades offer unique properties such as low temperature resistance, extremely low hardness, fuel 'C' resistance, fire-retardancy, anti-static properties, and the ability to produce lightweight micro-cellular products. We also provide general-purpose grades for ozone and oil/fuel resistance.
Our selected formulations and variety of grades allow us to obtain optimum physical and chemical properties, coupled with exceptional dimension control on extrudates and moulded products.
Rubaloy takes pride in being eco-friendly with negligible to no pollution produced during the manufacturing process.
Rubaloy is packaged in 25kg. LDPE bags or HDPE lined paper bags. LDPE bags ease the loading process into mixers, while the HDPE bags are ideal for rough handling.
